Hairball Control

Reducing the Risk of Hairballs

To minimize and possibly prevent the development of hairballs and their complications, we recommend the following:

- Get your cat accustomed to a daily brushing and combing regime.
- If the animal won't allow it, take her to your vet or a reputable groomer for a haircut once or twice a year. This is especially effective in long-haired breeds.
- Feed her a hairball remedy or add a mild petroleum-based laxative - once or twice a week.

If hairballs are not resolved within a few days please seek advice from your veterinary Surgeon.
